The meditation on the True Vine (John 15) focuses on belonging. Materials show how the branches are connected to the vine (Christ), which is the source of all life.
SALVATION HISTORY
Children explore the history of the Kingdom of God through the History of the Gifts (God's gifts to humanity) and the "Blue Strip" (a timeline showing creation, redemption, and the final coming of the Kingdom).
MORAL PARABLES
As the child's moral sense is beginning to form, the themes in the Atrium shift towards concepts that explore how to live within the community of the Church. Parables of the Wandering Sheep, the Pharisee and the Tax Collector, and the Found Coin are used to explore concepts of mercy and justice.
THE EUCHARIST
This level includes more in-depth work on the Eucharist, including the Last Supper and a meditation on the gesture of the epiclesis (calling down the Holy Spirit), preparing them for the Sacrament of First Holy Communion.
GEOGRAPHY
Pin maps and topographical maps of the Land of Israel are used to ground the Infancy and Paschal Narratives in a concrete historical context.
